How can I proceed with ease?
This eastern harbor's full of grief
All my heavy dreams are simply a luxury
The horse is in the pepper tree
And the lighthouse floating in the sea
Newborn forms are weightless like dust
Everything will regenerate as it was
All your heavy hearts are simply illusory
They will find an open shell in which to grow and set you free
Mourning how a frozen thing can thaw and turn to brine
The salty workings in a restless process of the mind
Form becoming weightless like dust
Everything will regenerate as love
Not the kind you think you know, and not the kind you learn
The arctic shark is living free in the coldest part of the eastern sea
All my heavy hearts are simply illusory
Find in time to trust them turning right side up inside of me
I was on a train travelling to Seefeld in Austria and had nothing but the Alps to look over from the windows. This was a perfect compliment to the environment I was in Robert A Johnson
Heard WB on a late BC night. Wow.
Sometimes feels familiar, then "Can't Go Home" pops up as the jewel that says there is more here than you thought! Anthony B Cook
Shane Butler (Quilt) formed a band with his love interest Caity Shaffer and made great indie rock/pop tunes with lyrics that full of art, poetry and complex human emotions. How to choose a favorite track? Goodness, The epic finale, "Takes One To Know One"? The rollicking "Cut To The Quick"? The folky "Common Ground" and "Vital Sign" featuring the swoony, swaying vocals of Caity? So, so many! But I will choose the ever-lovely "Gamblers On A Dime" which I can listen to constantly! Matthew Flores

If Wooden Shjips traded their sails for a prairie schooner, this is what you might hear them playing around the campfire at night on the Great Plains: homespun country-rock with a hint of psychedelia. Wonderful stuff, from start to finish. neu-mann
